Web 2.0 is coming, and Google want it work work as badly as anyone on the planet. HTML5 and VP8 Video this "Chrome Experiment", check it out. And iindie rock group Arcade Fire are along for the ride. Not only are they collaborating with Spike Jonze on b-movie science fiction short film, but they just completed an experiment with Google Labs utilizing HTML5 tech for a music video “The Wilderness Downtown”. Choreographed windows, interactive flocking (vector based and actual birds...), custom rendered maps, real-time compositing, procedural drawing, 3D canvas rendering. Check it out and use Chrome... Firefox works ok but it's really made for Chrome.
